The Machinist is responsible for setting up machines for Operators. This individual will also have experience reading drawings and manufacturing parts.

Senior Operators are also encouraged to apply.

*** Manufacture and inspect detailed parts from drawings using a variety of machining tools and equipment (mills, lathes, drill presses, grinders, jig bores and other machining equipment).
* Being able to perform mathematical and geometrical calculations.
* Determine how to set up machines based on instructions received and perform minor repairs of equipment.
* Responsible for keeping work area clean and free from safety hazards and to maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.

*** Ability to read and interpret process worksheets, inspect parts, set-up, operate and maintain set-ups of machines, and maintain acceptable quality and efficiency level.
* Must be able to communicate effectively.
