We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Material Handler to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in the efficient operation of our warehouse by managing the movement of materials and products. This position requires a strong understanding of warehouse processes, safety protocols, and the ability to operate various equipment.
Shifts- 2nd shift:
Monday-Friday 6pm-2:30am ($0.35/hr shift premium) - B Crew:
Tuesday-Friday 6pm-6am ($0.35/hr shift premium) - C Crew (Split Shift):
Friday & Saturday 6am-6pm AND Sunday & Monday 6pm-6am ($0.55 shift premium)
Starting at $17.75/hr
Responsibilities- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers using equipment such as pallet jacks, hi-los, and forklifts.
- Track inventory levels using Warehouse Management System (WMS) and RF scanners.
- Organize and store materials to optimize space and accessibility.
- Assist in shipping and receiving, ensuring proper documentation.
- Perform safety inspections of equipment to comply with OSHA standards.
- Build pallets for shipment, adhering to quality standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Experience as a Material Handler or similar role preferred.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems and RF scanning technology.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment safely.
- Mechanical aptitude for troubleshooting minor equipment issues.
- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.
- Commitment to safety and OSHA regulations.
