Final Assembly Technician - Mechanical and Electrical

1st Shift: Mon - Thu, 6am - 4:30 pm

Work with a team in the mechanical and electrical assembly of Lantech machines. This includes final assembly, runout, and troubleshooting of stretch‑wrap components using a wide range of hand and power tools. Your responsibilities also include hardware and software interface, and understanding of PLC/ladder logic. You will cross‑train on the line to support new and existing options in sub‑assembly. The role may require lifting loads up to 50 lbs.,

climbing a ladder, working in an aerial lift and forklift, and working overtime to meet project and scheduling deadlines.

• Must be able to read mechanical blueprints and electrical schematics.
• 2 years of wiring experience.
• Mechanical work background.
• Must be willing to enroll in and complete Lantech Electrical Advancement Program (LEAP) Levels 1 & 2.
• Must be willing to assist Rigging team in setup and tear down of equipment.
• Must be able to read and follow instructions in English (standardized work).
• Must be able to work effectively in a team environment.
• Practices safe work habits as an individual and with co‑workers.
• Adheres to guidelines related to PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Is a team‑oriented individual with good interaction/communication skills.
• Is detail‑oriented and able to work effectively within the fast‑paced production environment.
• Knows safety equipment and is aware of machine safety procedures.
• Is able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Is able to stand for 9‑10 hours per day.
• Is able to pass a pre‑employment physical demand screen (includes work simulation; lifting up to 50 lbs).
• Is able to pass a pre‑employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check.
• Is willing and able to work overtime to complete projects and/or meet scheduling deadlines.
• Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

• Must be a responsible, self‑starter with a passion to get the job done efficiently.

• Must possess good trouble‑shooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Must be safety conscious and able to work effectively in a team environment.

Salary: $24.00 per hour
