As a Modular Construction Assembler, you will play a vital role in the fabrication of large-scale metal structures, utilizing your mechanical aptitude to transform raw components into finished, high-quality building systems.
Responsibilities- Construct modular metal building units by integrating prefabricated components and structural siding.
- Ensure structural integrity and precision by utilizing advanced measuring tools and interpreting technical blueprints.
- Operate a variety of hand and power tools to execute complex assembly tasks safely and efficiently.
- Prepare metal fittings for fabrication processes to meet rigorous quality and alignment standards.
- Perform installation duties at varying heights while strictly adhering to site safety protocols.
- Maintain a high-performance work environment by keeping the assembly area organized and hazard-free.
- Proven mechanical aptitude with a strong desire to master new technical skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency in reading a tape measure and interpreting technical drawings.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting up to 75 lbs and working at heights.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety, quality control, and team collaboration.
- Valid motor vehicle record and reliable transportation.
- Prior experience in construction, carpentry, or industrial manufacturing environments.
- Familiarity with metal fabrication techniques or heavy equipment operation.
- Experience reading complex blueprints or technical schematics.
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
