3rd Shift Supervisor Production

• Plan and schedule personnel in cooperation with the Production Manager (i.e. vacation, temporary workers, overtime work).
• Provide production expectations and quality feedback to team members in daily start up meeting.
• Monitor daily established production requirements throughout the shift to ensure customer requirements and plant objectives are met while ensuring HSE and 5S policies and standards are followed.
• Train and monitor employee performance to ensure operator is certified and operator training matrix is updated and meeting departmental targets.
• Compile KPI data and populate end of shift report. Distribute to manager and appropriate operations and support personnel.
• Ensure job training and daily job rotations arein place and enforced.
• Ensure compliance of the UAW contract, team member handbook, safety guidelines, all rules, programs and procedures that pertain to production team members.
• Monitor quality of product throughout the production process.
• Participates in Team Leader meetings and Quality initiatives.
• Daily review of process and people to identify and implement CI opportunities.

• Must comply with all company policies and procedures.
• Employee musthave the ability to work additional hours and / or overtime as needed or assigned to complete job duties on time.
• Ability to multitask, interact politely and professionally with customers,suppliers and vendors, and work cooperatively with employees at all levels.

Abilityto maintain predictable and regular attendance, arrive to designated location on time, or be at assigned location ready to work for assignment (plant, corporate office, or remote).

• 3-5 Minimum Years of Experience with Production.
• 1-3 Minimum Years of Experience with in the automotive industry.
• 2-3 years of previous experience supervising and leading a team of direct reports.
• Must be able and willing to travel and work at customer sites, including industrial manufacturing plants which might require climbing, lifting, or working in confined spaces.
• Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills.
