*** 24 Hours Weekly, Part Time, Split-Shift (10:45a - 11:00p - Mon/Tues and Thur/Friday per pay period)

** Baptist Health Louisville is seeking a dedicated and motivated
** Charge Nurse (CN)
** to join our team in the
** Inpatient Operating Room (IPOR)
** on the 2nd floor of the Main Hospital. This entry-level management position is responsible for coordinating patient care during designated shifts and providing leadership to the surgical team. As a Registered Nurse (RN), the CN applies the nursing process to patients of all ages—from infancy to geriatrics—within the scope of the Kentucky Nurse Practice Act. The CN plays a vital role in promoting positive surgical outcomes, supporting quality improvement, and participating in both unit-based and hospital-wide shared governance councils.

The
** newly expanded and renovated IPOR
** features 27 state-of-the-art operating suites, including three dedicated to open heart surgery. The unit offers a full range of surgical services excluding organ transplants. Surgical specialties include general surgery, gynecology, urology, orthopedics, plastics, ENT, ophthalmology, interventional radiology, robotics, vascular, thoracic, neurosurgery, and cardiac surgery. Previous and/or Current surgical experience is required.
** BCLS is or will be required within 90 days of hire.
