Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Operating Room RN for a 12-hour day shift travel contract, requiring an active KY or compact RN license and AHA certifications.

• Position is in the Operating Room department of a hospital setting
• 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Assignment length is 13 weeks
• Position does not accept local travelers within a 50-mile radius
• Gaps in work history of 3 months or more must be explained
• Role involves perioperative patient care within a surgical team
• Work attire and scrub requirements follow hospital policy
• Travelers should be prepared to complete required hospital orientation and modules

• Active KY or compact RN license required and must be unencumbered
• Minimum of 2 years recent Operating Room RN experience required
• AHA certifications including BLS and ACLS are required and must remain active through the assignment period
• NIHSS certification is required and must be current at time of consideration
• CPI certification is required and may be completed onsite
• COVID and flu vaccination required with no exceptions
