Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Operating Room position with a 12-hour day shift and a compact or KY RN license required.

• Position based in a hospital Operating Room department
• Expected shift is 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• Assignment duration is 13 weeks
• No local travelers accepted; candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility
• CPR and crisis prevention/intervention training are mandatory for all RNs
• All work history gaps of 3 months or more must be explained
• No exceptions made for vaccination requirements
• Candidates with Canadian Social Security Numbers are not eligible

• Active KY or compact RN license in good standing with no disciplinary actions
• A minimum of 2 years recent operating room RN experience required
• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required
• Current NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required at the time of consideration
• CPI training required; may be completed onsite
• Candidates must be fully vaccinated for COVID-19 and influenza
