Part time 30 hours weekly, day shift
About the UnitInterventional Radiology (IR) is a four bed unit in the Radiology department. The unit offers specialized interventional care from patient work-up to recovery and then to inter-hospital transfer or discharge home.
Job DutiesInterventional nurses assist medical staff with acute stroke patients, intravascular procedures, stenting, kyphoplasties, and ablations. Nurses work with the anesthesia staff to assist with the patient's anesthesia or moderate sedation.
Minimum Education , Training and Experience Required- Registered Nurse licensed in Kentucky
- BCLS and ACLS required
- Previous Cath Lab, PACU, or Critical Care experience is desired.
Must be within 30 minutes of the hospital in order to take call
