We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate In‑Center Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in Louisville, KY. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to providing exceptional care for patients undergoing hemodialysis treatment. This role is crucial in ensuring the well‑being and health of our patients, with responsibilities that include monitoring patients, administering dialysis treatments, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key Responsibilities- Administer hemodialysis treatments to patients in accordance with prescribed protocols.
- Monitor patient responses to treatment, identifying and addressing any complications or adverse reactions.
- Develop and implement individualized patient care plans in collaboration with other healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and their families about dialysis procedures, treatment plans, and self‑care strategies.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and outcomes.
- Graduate from accredited nursing school (BSN preferred)
- Current state RN license
- 1 year nursing experience
- Hemodialysis training completed
- Current CPR certification (AHA)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
