Position OverviewAs a Financial Aid Specialist - On Campus at Galen College of Nursing, you will ensure accurate and timely administration of Title IV programs and effectively and efficiently balance competing priorities while doing so.
Key Responsibilities- I think this covers old item 5 and 6 below.
- Education:
Minimum high school diploma or GED, associate degree or higher preferred. - Experience:
Experience in using Microsoft systems such as Word, Excel, Internet Explorer and Microsoft teams. - Special
Qualifications:
Ability to effectively communicate with a wide variety of people. Position requires great attention to detail, time management skills, and willingness to be a team player. Ability to document all communications with students in Ellucian Colleague. The candidate must have the ability to enroll in and be granted access to all Department of Education websites, including but not limited to NSLDS, COD, CPS, etc.
Only candidates with no history of prior student loan default will be considered. - Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment:
Must be able to sit at a computer desk for eight hours each day. - Degree of Supervision:
Minimal
