American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring 2 years of acute inpatient ICU experience and a KY or compact RN license.
Details- Hospital-based Intensive/Critical Care Unit (ICU) setting
- Night shift from 645p-715a, working every other weekend
- 36 hours per week across 3 twelve-hour shifts
- Uses Epic EMR system
- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of acute inpatient ICU RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Responsible for assessing, developing, implementing, and evaluating patient care plans for ICU patients
- Delegates tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff and functions as a mentor/preceptor
- Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to coordinate care
- Facilitates patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
- Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement efforts
- Complies with regulatory standards and organizational practice governance model
