American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Emergency Department position requiring 2 years of ED experience and Epic proficiency.

• Emergency Department (ED/ER) setting
• Night shift schedule, 7p-7a with weekends per unit need
• 36 hours per week across three 12-hour shifts
• Uses Epic EMR

• Active RN license (KY or Compact) currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
• Minimum 2 years of ED RN experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
• Epic EMR experience required

• Responsible for patient assessment, care planning, implementation, and evaluation in a fast-paced ED environment
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams and patient families to coordinate care
• Provides patient and family education specific to care needs and discharge planning
• Mentors and precepts staff while delegating tasks to licensed and non-licensed personnel
• Participates in quality, safety, and service process improvement initiatives
• Complies with regulatory standards and practice governance models
