American Traveler is hiring an RN for an Operating Room position requiring KY or compact RN license, ACLS, NIHSS, and two years of EPIC experience.

• Surgical Services unit within an operating room setting
• Day shift schedule from 06:30-19:00, three days per week
• Includes one 7pm-11pm call shift per week
• 36 hours per week on a 12-hour shift schedule

• Active KY or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• NIHSS certification required
• Minimum two years of acute care RN experience required
• Minimum two years of EPIC EMR experience required
• Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required

• Provide safe, effective, patient and family-centered care with a focus on quality outcomes
• Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate individualized plans of care
• Supervise and delegate tasks to licensed and non-licensed staff members
• Serve as a mentor and preceptor to other staff
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and participate in quality, safety, and service improvement initiatives
• Facilitate patient and family education throughout the course of care and at discharge
