American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position requiring 2+ years of acute care experience and current EFM certification.
Requirements- Active KY or compact RN license required
- Current BLS, ACLS, NRP, and EFM certifications required (AWHONN accepted if not in place for more than 1 year)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care RN experience required
- Nursing Diploma or Associate's Degree (ASN) required
- Labor and Delivery unit in a hospital setting
- Night shift from 6:45p-7:15a, every other weekend required
- 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week, 36 hours weekly
- Assess, develop, implement, and evaluate patient plans of care using a family-centered care model
- Supervise and mentor licensed and non-licensed staff members
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care and discharge planning
- Participate in quality, safety, and performance improvement initiatives
- Provide patient and family education throughout care and at discharge
