We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Weld Inspector/Quality Control professional to join our team in Louisville, KY. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring that our welding processes meet the highest standards of quality and safety. • Conduct thorough inspections of welds to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications.
• Utilize various inspection tools and techniques to assess weld quality and integrity.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management and compliance purposes.
• Collaborate with welding teams to provide feedback and guidance on best practices.
• Identify and troubleshoot welding defects, recommending corrective actions as necessary.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and quality control processes.
• Stay updated on industry trends, standards, and regulations related to welding and quality control.

• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant certifications in welding inspection preferred.
• Proven experience in welding inspection or quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of welding processes, techniques, and industry standards (e.g., AWS, ASME).
• Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

• Blueprint Reading

Salary info:

$25 - $28 / hr
