QC Lab Technician
Job DescriptionAs a QC Lab Technician, you will perform required inspections and chemical tests on raw materials, in-process, final products, storage tanks, drums, shipping, and other samples accurately and promptly. You will be responsible for learning all standard operating procedures (SOPs) and test methods necessary to perform sample analysis safely and consistently. Additionally, you will record data in the lab computer system for various types of samples and generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products.
Responsibilities- Conduct inspections and chemical tests on various samples including raw materials and final products.
- Learn and adhere to all SOPs and test methods for safe and consistent sample analysis.
- Record and manage data in the lab’s computer system for different sample types.
- Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products.
- 3-5 years of experience in a chemical lab.
- BS degree in Chemical or Chemistry-related fields.
- Proficiency in quality assurance, lab operations, and chemical testing.
- Experience with GCMS, HPLC, titration, chromatography, viscosity, and wet chemistry.
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and quality control lab procedures.
Skills & Qualifications
- Preferred working knowledge of SAP.
The position is based in a lab setting with a small team of six people, where four work during the day and two tial working hours are from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM, Monday through Friday for training purposes. After training, the schedule shifts to a 4 days on-7 nights off
-4-3-3-1-3-3, 12-hour days/nights schedule. The role offers opportunities for skill growth, learning to operate new machines independently, and adding valuable experience to your resume.
The pay range for this position is $19.00 – $21.00/hr eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
