• Plan, unload, check in, and support the merchandising of distribution shipments.
• Receive, verify, and merchandise all direct vendor shipments.
• Manage effective freight flow in the receiving area while keeping the dock orderly and safe.
• Maintain safety of the receiving area.
• Adhere to company standards, confirm accuracy of all incoming merchandise, and set up and design merchandise displays.
• Direct the work of other associates in freight flow processes.
• Act as Manager on Duty; complete additional responsibilities including opening and closing of the store.

• Minimum 6 months’ retail experience in a mid-size to large retail service-oriented business. Preferred.
• Ability to work evenings, 3rd shift, weekends, and holidays on a regular basis.
• Positive attitude and ability to interact well with customers and associates.

• Lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Push and pull up to 35 pounds.
• Stand for extended periods and work safely.
