Licensed Insurance Sales Agent – Home & Auto Job Description

We are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Licensed Insurance Sales Agent to join our team. In this role, you will help clients protect what matters most by providing tailored home and auto insurance solutions. The ideal candidate is driven, personable, and skilled at building long‑term client relationships.

• Proactively generate new business through outbound calls, referrals, networking, and lead follow-up
• Assess client needs and recommend appropriate home and auto insurance policies
• Explain coverage options, premiums, and policy details in a clear and professional manner
• Prepare accurate quotes and assist clients with the application and underwriting process
• Maintain up‑to‑date product knowledge across multiple carriers and policy types
• Build and nurture a pipeline of prospective clients to meet and exceed sales goals
• Ensure all client interactions and sales comply with state regulations and company standards
• Provide exceptional ongoing customer service, including policy changes, renewals, and coverage questions
• Maintain organized records of sales activities, client communications, and completed policies

• Active Property & Casualty Insurance License (required)
• Proven experience in insurance sales, customer service, or a related field
• Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to understand and explain complex insurance products
• Self‑motivated with a goal‑oriented mindset
• Proficiency with CRM systems, quoting platforms, and basic computer applications
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team environment
