What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to expand and manage a portfolio of business for profitable growth
  • Own assigned territory and leverage performance metrics to create annual plans and manage performance
  • Conduct agency diagnostics to assess performance and identify growth opportunities
  • Facilitate agency appointments and build long‑term relationships through in‑person and virtual visits
  • Utilize advanced data and analytics to support sales decisions and performance measurement
What is Required (Qualifications):
  • Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
  • Minimum of three years of professional experience in sales, sales support, or a relevant insurance field
  • Strong knowledge of Travelers products and the Property & Casualty marketplace
  • Proven ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time within the managed territory
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):
  • Four or more years of insurance sales experience managing a book of business and achieving sales targets
  • Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) or willingness to pursue certification
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills
  • Exceptional organizational skills to manage complex tasks and priorities effectively
  • Experience utilizing digital sales tools
