Job Description & How to Apply Below
For more than 80 years, our family-owned and operated organization has built its reputation on integrity, performance, and taking care of our customers and our people. We’re looking for more than someone who simply knows how to manage a sales department. We want a competitive, accountable leader who knows how to build a team, structure deals, maximize opportunities, deliver an exceptional customer experience, and consistently produce results.
If you have a history of success in automotive sales management and are ready to join a dealer group with a strong reputation, supportive leadership, and a winning culture, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities
• Lead, motivate, coach, and develop a high-performing automotive sales team
• Recruit, hire, train, and retain professional sales representatives who share our standards of excellence, ethics, and customer service
• Desk and structure new and pre-owned vehicle deals while maximizing both volume and gross profit
• Establish individual sales goals and provide consistent coaching, feedback, and accountability
• Manage the sales floor and work directly with sales professionals and customers throughout the sales process
• Conduct daily and weekly sales meetings, including ongoing product, process, and sales training
• Develop and implement sales strategies designed to increase volume, profitability, CSI, and market share
• Oversee lead management, CRM activity, follow-up, appointments, and unsold customer opportunities
• Maintain a strong focus on 100% customer satisfaction and address customer concerns quickly and professionally
• Help oversee new-vehicle advertising, merchandising, display standards, and promotional efforts
• Assist with new-vehicle inventory planning, ordering, dealer trades, and inventory acquisition
• Monitor manufacturer incentives, contests, programs, and policies to maximize available opportunities
• Provide input on advertising strategies, sales promotions, staffing requirements, lease programs, and compensation plans
• Work closely with the Finance & Insurance Department to ensure accurate paperwork, credit processes, one-pay transactions, and complete deal jackets## Qualifications
* 2+ years of automotive sales management and deal-desking experience
* Proven success leading a high-volume automotive sales team
* Strong interactive floor-management experience with both sales professionals and customers
* Demonstrated ability to mentor, coach, train, and develop sales staff
* Strong deal-structuring, negotiation, and closing skills
* Proven track record of achieving strong volume, gross profit, and CSI results
* Understanding of manufacturer incentive programs, contests, policies, and sales programs
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to manage multiple priorities and perform at a high level in a fast-paced environment
* Strong work ethic, competitive drive, and commitment to execution
* Team-oriented leadership style with impeccable honesty and integrity
* Valid in-state driver's license with an acceptable and safe driving record
* Passion for developing people and creating a culture of accountability and excellence
