Position Title:

Security Officer (Louisville, KY)

The Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a secure environment for employees, visitors, and property by monitoring and patrolling the premises. The officer prevents unauthorized access, detects suspicious activities, and ensures compliance with company policies and safety regulations.

• Location: Louisville, KY
• Shift: 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts (32‑hour schedules)

• Maintain a secure working environment for employees, visitors, and property.

• Utilize security systems, cameras, and basic office technology.

• Education: High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience: Prior experience in security, law enforcement, or military service preferred, but training provided.
• Certifications:
  • Security Officer License (where applicable).
  • CPR/First Aid Certification (preferred).
• Skills:
  • Strong observational and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Proficiency in using security systems, cameras, and basic office technology.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, or patrol for long periods.
• Age: Minimum 25 years.
• Clearance: Ability to pass criminal background check and drug test.
