Job Description

As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control you will serve and safeguard clients in Industries such as Logistics & Distribution. This Part‑Time role offers flexibility to build a schedule that works for you. You will monitor and patrol assigned areas, deter security incidents, manage entry points, and provide outstanding customer service.

What You'll Do

• Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location, verifying credentials of employees, visitors, and vehicles.
• Assist in carrying out security‑related procedures and site‑specific policies as directed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, providing assistance and reporting as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location while maintaining security protocols.
• Document and report any observed irregularities according to site procedures.
• Support emergency response activities when appropriate, following established protocols and instructions.

Minimum Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistently with applicable laws.
• Applicants will be subject to a drug screen as permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements subject to state or local laws; may be required prior to employment.
• Valid driver’s license required only for driving positions.
