Body Technician (Flat Rate)

Key Job Responsibilities- Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
- Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
- Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
- Reduce dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
- Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
- Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields.
- Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
- Weld and attach parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint or agreed‑upon equivalent.
- Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.
Skills and Abilities
- Read job orders and work independently.
- Collaborate with other repairers within the shop.
- Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
- Know how to use required tools for the trade.
- Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
- Lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
- Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
- Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.

Compensation Details$75,000+ annually depending on flagged hours per week.
