Body Technician (Flat Rate)

• Ensure consistent execution of WOW (Wow Operating Way) plan.
• Plan repair work and prepare cost estimates for customers.
• Use tools such as cutting guns, plasma cutters, hydraulic jacks, hammers, and pliers to repair vehicle sections.
• Reduce dents, dimples, and other minor body damage; apply filler resins when needed.
• Realign car chassis and frames to repair structural damage.
• Remove damaged sections and replace them with new or aftermarket parts; replace or repair glass and windshields.
• Replace or repair interior parts as needed.
• Weld and attach parts, then prepare and repaint vehicles with factory‑specified paint or agreed‑upon equivalent.
• Attempt to complete work orders within labor time guidelines and inspect vehicles after repair to ensure quality.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Successful completion of a technical school program or a 3‑year apprenticeship as an auto body repairer.

• Read job orders and work independently.
• Collaborate with other repairers within the shop.
• Understand methods and procedures to repair vehicle bodies.
• Know how to use required tools for the trade.

• Work safely in a noisy area with many odors.
• Lift up to 30 pounds when necessary.
• Visually inspect vehicle damage in various weather conditions.
• Bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform repairs and inspections.
