RSS Mobile Trailer Repair is a growing powerhouse in the Trucking Industry. RSS has been in business for over 31 years, and has nearly 400 team members located in 15 states! We are currently looking to expand our team in Louisville, KY area.
About the JobA successful candidate for this position would be an experienced mobile Trailer Mechanic, with a strong understanding of semi-trailer diagnostics and repair. Someone who is self-motivated, safety-minded, enjoys mobile service truck work and is able to effectively communicate with customers and co-workers.
Compensation and Benefits- $24-$30/hour. Starting Pay commensurate with experience.
- Quarterly Safety & Performance Bonuses after 90 days.
- Monday-Friday - DAYS!
- Paid holidays and vacation time.
- 401(k) after 1 year.
- Overtime after 40 hours. Bi-weekly paychecks.

- Must be willing and able to train in Columbus, OH (weekdays for 2-3 weeks) Expenses paid.
- Inspect and diagnose all trailer systems.
- Troubleshoot, repair, and replace defective components.
- Perform preventative maintenance on trailers and parts, including but not limited to: ABS, frame, body, doors, tires and electrical systems.
- Independently motivated professional, dedicated to providing top-notch service.
- Maintain positive working relationships with customers.
- Properly operate the mobile Service Truck.
- Follow all safety requirements while servicing trailers and while driving the Service Truck.
- Trailer Mechanic experience required.
- Outdoor, mobile service truck position.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical and Drug Screen.
