Restoration Technician

Overview

Position Summary: Technicians hold a tremendous amount of responsibility in the success of Amerestore Restoration as a company. This position will be expected to be hard-working, dedicated, on-time every day, ability to take direction, listen and learn. The technician will present themselves in a professional manner, including but not limited to: dress code, hygiene, attitude, commitment, timeliness, and positive. Positivity is Contagious!!

Reports to: Lead Technician
Direct Reports: NA

• Basic Job Knowledge
• Ability to photo document properly / close up / corner to corner / important items.
• Ability to perform restoration services and physical duties.
• Ability to labor for extended periods of time.
• Ability to run hand tools and basic power tools proficiently.
• Willingness to dress in PPE (personal protective equipment).
• Heavy odor situations.
• Hazardous waste clean-up.
• General knowledge of construction or restoration.
• Willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.

• Communication on phone and email
• Availability to answer and respond to calls and email in timely manner.
• We are an emergency service company – 24/7/365.

• Job Documentation
• Understanding of how to use mobile applications.

• Performing work the Amerestore way
• Recognizing risk and safety on projects to ensure safe work sites for employees and clients.
• Keeping and maintaining clean and safe job site.
• Minimizing risk to clients and staff.
• Availability to be on call.
• Availability to storm duty or cat duty (may include travel).
• Sense of urgency regarding projects and communication.
• Valid Driver’s license and legal to work in USA.
• A strong eye for detail and willing to SAY SOMETHING if you see something.
• Reporting information to the supervisor.
• Willing to do WHATEVER IT TAKES to complete the job 100%.
• Job requires dedication for a 24/7/365 position (we are an emergency service company servicing the entire country).
• Other duties when assigned.

The ability to fulfill any activities normally expected in restoration/construction management, including but not limited to:

• Participating in field-type situations.
• Lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
• Frequently required to stand, walk, and work for extended periods of time.
• Ability to travel when required (primarily scheduled travel).

Compensation: $40,000.00 per year
