Restorative Justice Case Manager Specialist - School Project

$45,500.00/hr – $47,500.00/hr

Job Summary and Qualifications

The RJ Case Manager Specialist I shall provide case management services with referred individuals and their families while also implementing appropriate restorative justice practices.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Human Services, or related field; recent graduate within four (4) months/one semester, up to three (3) years of experience.
  • Interest in working with justice‑involved and disenfranchised populations is highly desired.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated abilities in written reports/business correspondence.
  • Effective oral communication skills, including public speaking or presentations to groups.
  • Proficient with MS Office software.
Responsibilities
  • Maintain case load consistent with projects, restorative justice and case management processes and contact schedule, in catchment area serving Jefferson County.
  • Compile, input and track case management and restorative justice processes in online case management system.
  • Facilitate restorative justice practice for assigned cases consistent with department and project requirements.
  • Complete appropriate assessments for referred individuals and families.
  • Develop and monitor case plans, with assigned individuals and families, consistent with department and project requirements.
  • Complete and maintain accurate documentation for case management and restorative justice practices in online case management system.
  • Complete all required reports and documentation consistent with program standards and funding requirements.
  • Assist in the recruitment of community volunteers.
  • Represent VOA and VOA Justice in the community.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with community organizations to provide support services for conference participants.
  • Seek and engage in personal and professional development opportunities.
  • Participate in staff meetings and supervision meetings.
  • Assist with special projects as assigned.
  • Assist and support all VOA Restorative Justice project sites including case management and travel.
