NodeJS Developer

As a NodeJS Developer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and enhancing high-performance backend applications and services for the engineering platform. Your deep expertise in Node.js and Mongo

DB will drive platform performance, scalability, and reliability. You will collaborate closely with front-end developers, architects, and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions that strengthen the client’s leadership in their industry. In addition to hands-on development, you will provide mentorship to junior developers and contribute to continuous improvements across the software development lifecycle.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services and APIs using Node.js.
• Lead Mongo
  
  DB integration and optimization to improve platform scalability and performance.
• Collaborate with front-end developers and architects to deliver cohesive user experiences.
• Implement software engineering best practices, including code refactoring, unit testing, and CI/CD integration.
• Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality while mentoring junior developers.
• Research, evaluate, and integrate emerging technologies such as AWS services and graph databases.
• Contribute to the adoption and improvement of microservices architecture.
• Stay current with trends in software engineering, backend frameworks, and platform technologies.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 6+ years of professional experience developing scalable web applications and APIs using Node.js.
• Strong proficiency with Mongo
  
  DB; experience optimizing queries and database performance.
• Solid understanding of code refactoring, testing frameworks, and software quality standards.
• Proven experience conducting code reviews and mentoring junior developers.
• Hands-on experience with microservices architecture.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to evolving technologies.

• Experience with graph databases.
• Familiarity with AWS cloud services and infrastructure.
• Knowledge of Unity (game engine).
• Proficiency with Angular or other front-end frameworks.
• Experience with Type Script.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
