Data Scientist

We are seeking an experienced Backend & Rules Engineer to design and implement high-performance microservices for scoring, arbitration, rules evaluation, and real-time decision APIs.

This role involves developing clean, production-grade code, integrating machine learning outputs and rule engines, and optimizing systems for low latency and high throughput.

The engineer will also implement eligibility logic, business constraints, suppression rules, and metadata-driven rules using JSON/DSL formats.

• Design and develop microservices for scoring, arbitration, and real-time decision APIs.
• Integrate machine learning outputs and rule engines into backend systems.
• Implement eligibility logic, business constraints, and suppression rules.

• Build unit and scenario tests to validate rule correctness and safety.
• Contribute to observability and debugging tools for decision engines.

• 8+ years of experience translating business policies into deterministic runtime logic.
• 5+ years of experience building unit and scenario tests for rule validation.
• 5+ years of experience contributing to observability and debugging tooling for decision engines.
• Strong programming skills in backend development and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with JSON/DSL formats for rule implementation.

• Experience integrating machine learning models into production systems.
• Knowledge of real-time decisioning and high-performance computing.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
