The Dev Sec Ops  Software Engineer role involves deploying, configuring and maintaining a robust software development environment. This senior position requires expertise in at least one programming language, an advanced understanding of software development principles, and the ability to design and architect complex software systems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Kubernetes deployments such as the Big Bang framework.

This role spans both on-premises and cloud environments, with particular emphasis on air-gapped operations. The ideal candidate will design and maintain infrastructure using secure IaC tools like Terraform or Ansible, implement comprehensive observability solutions for proactive monitoring, and seamlessly integrate security practices throughout the development lifecycle. You must have strong expertise in container technologies, Git Ops workflows, infrastructure as code, software development workflows, and security tooling.

You should be comfortable collaborating with development teams to optimize processes and ensure high-quality, reproducible software delivery that meets stringent compliance requirements.

• Requires bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience in lieu of degree or master's experience).
• 8+ years of related professional experience.
• Ability to design, code, test, and debug complex software development environments.
• Experience with different software development methodologies such as Agile and Scrum/Kanban.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide other engineers.
• The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Security Clearance is required.

• Security Plus or IAT2 certification
• Proven experience as a Dev Ops/Dev Sec Ops  Engineer
• Proficient in one or more scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash)
• Experience designing CI/CD pipelines (preferably using Git Hub or Git Lab)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Ansible
• Proficiency with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes
