Receiving & Distribution Tech​/Truck Driver - Warehouse

Responsibilities

The role of the Receiving and Distribution Tech/ Driver is to provide effective and efficient services to the hospitals and ancillary departments. This is accomplished by:
Receiving and preparing orders for units, and distributing supplies in a timely and organized manner, (speed and accuracy are the utmost important factor when receiving orders), assisting with the unloading of supplier truck in order to receive, combine and process incoming and outgoing shipments. The Receiving and Distribution Tech also provides backup support to staff, procures supplies for the hospitals, follows up on any purchase orders placed, and directs internal and external customers to appropriate areas and acts as receptionist.

This position requires taking responsibility within appropriate guidelines, prioritizing duties, teamwork and flexibility.

This role requires driving Norton Healthcare vehicles, which could include transporting patients and visitors. You must have a valid driver’s license and maintain an acceptable driving record

Required:

• Driver's License

Desired:

• One year in a warehouse with a computerized inventory;
  One year commercial driving experience
• High School Diploma or GED
