Logistics Specialist (Commercial Motor Vehicle)

Starting wage of $21/hr , with applicable wage progression after 90-day, 180-day, and 1-year tenure with Tire Hub.

Monday through Saturday
- Fluctuating day shift hours

The primary role of the Logistics Specialist (LS), (CMV) involves loading and unloading tires for warehouse storage and/or timely customer delivery, including the unloading and staging of products at the customer’s business location. The LS is expected to maintain safe driving practices, deliver exceptional customer service, and foster strong customer relationships while representing Tire Hub professionally.

This position reports to an Assistant TLC Leader.

Role Specifics:

• Responsible for distribution of tasks including:
• General Warehousing (up to 50%)
• Delivery Service (up to 45%)
• Vehicle Maintenance (5%)

* Adjustments to these allocations are made as business needs evolve.

• Loads, unloads, inspects, and tallies tires to and from transport vehicles (trailer trucks/box trucks/delivery vans).
• Follows Tire Hub safety standards with respect to selecting, packing, counting, labeling, and palletizing customer orders and position them in designated locations using the bin locator system.
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, order pickers and pallet jacks, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
• Conducts and participates in cycle counts, tallies, and labeling as part of regularly scheduled and annual inventory control procedures.
• Collecting payments from customers on Cash on Delivery (COD) transactions.
• Ensures vehicles remain clean and in good mechanical/physical condition.
• Conducts pre/post-trip vehicle inspections daily and immediately reports any operational issues or mechanical defects to the Leader or designated person.
• Completes all the necessary driver and vehicle maintenance logs, on a regular basis.
• Ensure compliance with all Tire Hub policies and procedures, as well as Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
• Participates and maintains ongoing training through in-class, in-person, or computer-based learning modules, as assigned.
• Completes other tasks assigned by their Leader or another member of leadership.
