Mental Health Specialist (Non Degree)

Location: Diamond Grove Center, Louisville, MS

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Specialist to provide quality patient care. This is a PRN position requiring flexibility to work weekend shifts when needed.

• Facilitate the admission of psychiatric patients to Diamond Grove Center.
• Balance patient comfort with the facility’s operating needs.
• Establish therapeutic rapport and verbally de‑escalate patients in crisis.
• Assist with the orderly admission of patients to the facility.

• Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions.
• Background in behavioral science or equivalent documented experience.
• Experience as a hospital aide or treatment assistant.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• High School Diploma or equivalent; GED required.
