Menzies Distribution Solutions are looking for an experienced

Load Strapper. Your role will be to support our drivers, contractors & other departments by ensuring all vehicle loads are secure, safe & compliant with company legislation at our depot in Louth.

The Details:

• Salary: £33,000
  
  Per Annum
• Shift Pattern:
  
  Sunday – Thursday nights
• Hours:
  
  19:00 - 05:00
• Shift Length: 10 Hours / 50 Hours Per Week
• Monthly Pay
• Parking Onsite
• Please note at Menzies Distribution Solutions we feel strongly about investing in people and offer Forklift Licence Training.

Load Strapper duties:

• Loading/unloading of cardboard and reels
• Co-operate with management and team to ensure job is complete at end of the day
• Work to timescale and deadlines
• Ensure vehicle load is safe, secure and correctly positioned.
• Correctly check and accept load documentation and delivery paperwork.
• Correctly check in any returned goods and ensure paperwork is accurate.
• Maintain communication at all times with the Traffic Office.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness, using all equipment safely as specified in operating procedures.
• Operate vehicle safely, ensuring driver actions do not endanger self or other road users.
• Comply with safe working practices at all times.
• Undertake any other reasonable job instruction to support the supply of a quality service to the customer
• Rachet, strap and corner management.
• Work to health and safety, environmental and other standards as they apply to the process

Load Strapper Requirements:

• Self motivated individual

• FLT licence preferred
