Project Assistant

We are looking for a detail-oriented Project Assistant to support a contract records review assignment in Loveland, Colorado. This Contract position will focus on organizing employee files, identifying records that require retention, review, or disposal, and ensuring sensitive documentation is handled appropriately. The ideal candidate is comfortable working through structured processes, managing timelines, and maintaining accuracy in a high-volume administrative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review employee records and organize files into designated categories based on employment status and document type.
• Retain active employee files in the appropriate group without removing materials during the initial review stage.
• Separate records for former employees when retention time frames indicate they may be eligible for disposal.
• Route files with unclear termination timelines or uncertain status into a secondary review queue for further evaluation.
• Identify and preserve documents containing medical, disability, workers' compensation, injury, immigration, I-9, legal, investigation, or claims-related information.
• Support document scanning and file handling activities while maintaining order, consistency, and confidentiality.
• Track progress against project timelines and help maintain an efficient workflow throughout the assignment.
• Collaborate with project leadership to escalate exceptions, clarify file classifications, and ensure records are processed correctly.
