We are looking for one candidate who will serve the Fort Collins, Loveland, and Greeley Colorado areas. This fulltime day shift Monday‑Friday, with occasional rotating evening and Sunday shifts. Some travel between hospital sites during shift hours will be required and compensated.
Qualifications- NAACLS Accredited Program completion as a Pathologists’ Assistant.
- ASCP Certified, or ASCP exam ready with certification imminent. New graduates or PA students nearing successful completion are welcome to apply.
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team. Patient‑centered mentality.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and use effective communication skills both in person and virtually.
- Prior grossing experience (preferred).
- Proper specimen handling and accurate patient sample identification, including fresh, frozen or cassette labeling.
- Use of laboratory equipment for cutting with microtome, dissection, staining and tissue handling.
- Adhere to and model HIPAA regulations and all safety standards when in grossing areas, labs, and surgical areas.
- Maintain lab equipment and assist in educating and training others on proper use.
- Maintain all required certifications and complete annual continuing education credits.
