Sr. Compliance Engineer

Join to apply for the Sr. Compliance Engineer role at Hach (Veralto). This position is part of the Water Quality Strategic Product Compliance team located in Loveland, Colorado. The role focuses on applying advanced regulatory compliance and engineering principles to the design, redesign, testing, and compliance of instrumentation, subassemblies, and complex systems, with leadership of cross-functional teams and mentoring of junior engineers.

• Evaluate and analyze instrumentation circuit designs for compliance with relevant regulatory standards and directives. Suggest options to improve design robustness and compliance when tested.
• Review and analyze compliance regulations and standards to determine applicability and requirements as applied to instrumentation.
• Interpret regulatory intent where standards are broadly stated, acting as a technical authority in interpretation, applicability, and implementation.
• Engage in a range of duties requiring diverse processes and methods, isolating unknown conditions, resolving critical problems, or developing new theories, with impact on other experts and major engineering programs.
• Educate various departments through trainings, guidelines, and best practices to ensure product compliance.
• Support merger and acquisition activities across the Water Segment.

• Associates Degree with a minimum of 25 years of on-the-job compliance engineering experience, or Bachelors Degree with at least 15 years of directly relevant experience, or Masters Degree with at least 10 years of directly relevant experience.
• Product EMC standards certification and testing of electrical instrumentation.
• RF design and FCC and global radio/wireless standards and certification.
• Provides expertise in core regulatory compliance and engineering disciplines to all areas of the Water Quality Platform and contributes to strategic planning, acquisitions, and technology evaluation.

The compensation range for the role is $123,000 - $160,000 USD per year, with eligibility for bonus pay. The posted range is subject to modification and depends on factors including education, experience, and location. This job is US-only for compensation disclosures.
