Experienced Civil Designer - Data Center

Olsson provides multidisciplinary design services for hyperscale data center campuses and other projects across the U.S. Our clients are relationship-based and value our work, enabling us to contribute to society’s technological and connected communities through the design of critical infrastructure.

The Experienced Civil Designer role is an intermediate-level position that performs standard techniques and procedures and applies knowledge of established methods, practices, and programs to prepare engineering and design plans. This position works closely with technical staff to determine the best approach to solve engineering and design needs.

The following describes typical responsibilities for this role, including collaboration with the Data Center Civil team to support project delivery.

• Prepare engineering and design plans using established methods, practices, and software.
• Collaborate with technical staff to identify effective approaches to meet project objectives.
• Contribute to the design of civil infrastructure for data center projects.
• Engage with project teams to ensure accuracy and quality of deliverables.

You bring to the team:

• Associate degree in a related field preferred
• 3-5 years of drafting and design experience
• Proficient in Civil 3D software
• Ability to contribute and work well on a team
• Professional representation of Olsson at all times

Note:

Salary range is commensurate with experience relative to the position.

Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, geographic location, skills, education, and internal equity.

$55,000 - $80,000 USD
