Our global client is hiring a Senior SAP S4

HANA FICO Functional Architect, Record to Report. You will be based in the CAN or US corporate HQ. As the functional Solution Architect will own the Solution Design. This role is project focused: completing the global design, the 'localization' custom design requirements and the S4

HANA Implementation. The project is in Deployment, global design is 60-70% complete.

Location:

Preferred is Loveland USA, or Calgary/Saskatoon CAN Onsite 5 days a week.

Relocation:
Yes Lump sum.

Residency: MUST be able to travel between the USA and CAN.

• Minimum 8 years’ practical experience in SAP functional solution design and delivery
• Undergraduate degree or diploma from a recognized university or technical school in Computer Science, MIS, Computer Engineering, or related equivalent
• Experience working in various sub-modules of S/4
  
  HANA FICO with integration with SD, MM & PP. Hands‑on experience in Product Costing with Material Ledger and Project Systems in MTO scenarios is required. FSCM experience although not mandatory would be considered a bonus
• Understanding of RICEFWs and ability to gather requirements and prepare functional specifications
• Experience of working on One Source is preferred
• Understanding of Acquire to Retire process in SAP and all integration points from Record to Report perspective
• Experience of coordinating with banks for AR & AP payment/collection automation solutions and EBS processing
• Effective with creative solutioning and communication to influence and facilitate resolution of a problem/business issue
• History of designing complex SAP solutions to enable unique business processes
• Experience in SAP development estimation and best practices in solution delivery
• Ability to work independently or as a team with both technical and non-technical staff
• Willingness to learn, teach and share information with teammates, peers, management, and users
• Able to engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously
• Results driven

• Responsible for architecting and designing SAP solutions to meet specific business requirements and ensuring integrity of design through implementation
• Responsible for working with, and providing direction to, system integrators in a project setting to ensure SAP solutions in the Record to Report area meet business requirements, achieve a high level of systems integration, follow SAP best practice, and enrich the user experience
• Work directly with business stakeholders to collaborate on SAP solutions required to meet business objectives
• Determine optimal approach to develop and deliver required functionality from financial, architectural, operational perspectives
• Define functional requirements and capture them in configuration rationale and functional specification documents. Validate any proposed development estimates
• Own the solution design and oversee development to ensure it meets business requirements
• Define and/or execute test plans and review outcomes to validate solution meets intent and is appropriate in response to business demand for change
• When necessary, assist managed service team with any escalated incidents and recommend/confirm appropriate actions to resolve

Must have Work Authorization for Canada or the US. Perm residency is preferred.
