Manual QA Tester

Location: Loveland, CO (Hybrid)

Salary Range: $45-$60 per hour

We are seeking a Manual QA Tester with strong analytical skills and experience in API and backend testing. This role involves validating complex systems end‑to‑end, ensuring integrations and data flows function correctly. You will design and execute test cases, collaborate with developers and product teams, and contribute to improving QA processes. Candidates with a BA/BSA background are highly preferred. Interviews are quick‑30 minutes with the hiring manager followed by an onsite team meeting with an immediate start.

• Develop and execute manual test cases for web, mobile, and backend systems.
• Validate API responses, data integrity, and system integrations.
• Perform regression, smoke, and exploratory testing across multiple environments.
• Document defects clearly in Jira and collaborate with engineering for resolution.
• Analyze requirements and translate them into actionable test plans.
• Partner with product and development teams to ensure release quality.

• 3‑5+ years of manual QA experience (mid‑to‑senior level).
• Strong analytical mindset; ability to understand system architecture and workflows.
• Experience testing APIs and backend processes.
• BA/BSA background or equivalent experience in requirements analysis.
• Familiarity with SDLC, QA methodologies, and defect tracking tools.
• Nice to have: basic SQL for data validation; exposure to automation tools.

3‑5+ years of manual QA experience (mid‑to‑senior level).
Strong analytical mindset; ability to understand system architecture and workflows.
