Overview
Hybrid role based out of an office in either New York City, NY or Loveland, CO. The target pay range is $93,000 - $115,080 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget.

Responsibilities- Develop annual communication strategies and execute them in collaboration with the Corporate Affairs teams across Science & Diagnostics and Mars Petcare.
- Drive organizational efficiency and change communications plans globally by proactively partnering with cross-functional teams.
- Lead internal/external content strategy to ensure regional relevance and deliver adaptable global materials (e.g., talking points, Q&As, fact sheets, internal slides, announcements) and manage the internal review process.
- Develop communications plans for lab communities globally, aligning messaging with the wider SDx mission and connecting associates, Mars Petcare, and Mars Inc.
- Collaborate with local teams to implement internal and external communications strategies for Associates and external partners, in partnership with the divisional CA team.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams across Science & Diagnostics, Mars Petcare Public Affairs, and Commercial/Marketing to ensure strategic, consistent communications on key topics and initiatives.
- Partner with CA and P&O teams across regions to align on initiatives and activate broader corporate communications programs.
- Support content and leader prep for regular Associate and Leader events.
- Lead on labs and imaging services issues management and monitor issues that could impact success or company reputation.
- Develop and monitor regular feedback loops and metrics.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in in-house and/or agency communications, ideally in a health care setting.
- Public Relations/Communication Degree or related degree/diploma.
- Strong background in communications in human or animal medical, health, med tech or diagnostics spaces.
- Robust media relations experience.
- Experience leading strategy and outputs for digital and social media content.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven track record working with executives and subject matter experts.
- Knowledge of science and technical media/press/influencers (including science, AI, diagnostics, veterinary).
- Experience in international and intercultural settings; fluency in English.
- Excellent writing, oral and interpersonal skills; experience with scientific publications and congresses.
- Ability to set strategy and create integrated communications plans; ability to network effectively.
- Peer relationship skills and the ability to drive outcomes through networks.
- Desire to be part of a team making A Better World For Pets; comfortable with ambiguity and rapid learning.
- Sound decision quality, critical thinking and judgment skills; ability to manage internal and external alliances.
