Reporting to the Sr Environmental Management Manager [NAS‑POC] this position provides support to the Retail Operating Segment on behalf of the Environmental Operations Team with the execution of global environmental programs, as well as advising on and assisting with the completion of individual projects, permitting, reporting, and regulatory issues.

• Provide technical expertise and direction in the planning, development, implementation and evaluation of Nutrien’s environmental matters across the Retail Operating Segment
• Strategy – Contribute to and implement Environmental Management strategy and Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
• Execution - Provide hands‑on technical expertise to internal stakeholders in support of environmental compliance issues and best practices
• Regulatory - Provide guidance on existing regulations and new regulatory developments
• Compliance – Support with acquisition of environmental permits and meeting regulatory requirements. Participate in the environmental audit and check‑in processes
• Commitment – Steward to Nutrien’s ‘Culture of Care. Develop and support projects that contribute to making Nutrien a strong steward of the environment.
• Relationships - Develop and foster strong relationships built on trust with internal groups, contractors, and federal, state, and local agency representatives to ensure the continued effectiveness of company environmental programs. Promote collaboration between the SHE team and the Retail Operating Segment
• Budgeting and Finance – Ensure team and project budget goals are met, and technically support Business Unit environmental liabilities
