Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team and drive stabilization and flow improvement initiatives across our production operations. This role is ideal for a hands‑on engineer who thrives in dynamic environments and is passionate about optimizing processes, supporting production teams, and ensuring high‑quality outcomes. You will support the resolution of production issues and implement process changes as needed, all while maintaining a willingness to take a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and process improvement and working collaboratively with suppliers and other Applied partners.

  • Document manufacturing processes for electrical and metal fabrication equipment, ensuring efficient production flow, adherence to quality standards, and optimal resource utilization. Provide line support for system controls and electrical manufacturing elements.
  • Optimize equipment performance to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Develop comprehensive work instructions, procedures, and documentation for manufacturing processes.
  • Collaborate with the quality team to design and implement quality control plans, inspection methods, and testing protocols.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, implementing process changes as needed.
  • Take a hands‑on approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering (required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Manufacturing Engineering experience (required)
  • Proven experience with electro‑mechanical products and processes
  • Familiarity with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and 5S to drive efficiency and quality
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a continuous improvement mindset
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross‑functional team
  • Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, hands‑on environment
