We are looking for a Fabricator to join our team in Loveland CO and help with ASME NQA-1 and ISO 9001 welding and fabrication of custom equipment.

The anticipated closing date of this posting is 11/30/25 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis.

• Weld per AWS using GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
• Operate manual mills, lathes, rolls, forklifts and other shop equipment.
• Ensure jobs and tasks are completed on time and in compliance with company procedures.
• Assemble custom equipment to print.
• Test custom equipment to written plans.
• Maintain a safe and clean shop.

• 4+ years of experience in GMAW, FCAW, GTAW processes.
• 2+ years in a machine shop environment.
• Ability to read drawings and understand weld symbols.
• Knowledge of manual machining and experience with a variety of assembly techniques.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and advanced problem-solving skills.
• Teamwork mentality with detail oriented with efficient work habits.
• This position requires the incumbent to work with export-controlled items.

Strength and Stamina: The job may involve lifting and moving parts or materials, typically up to 50lbs. The ability to stand for long periods (8+ hours) is required.

Manual Dexterity: Precise hand movements are necessary for handling tools, operating equipment and operating a computer.

Visual Acuit: Good eyesight, including close vision and depth perception, is important for detailed work and inspecting finished parts.

Mobility: Frequent bending, stooping, and crouching is required, along with the ability to maneuver around machinery and equipment.

Coordination: The role requires good hand-eye coordination to operate equipment safely and effectively.

Communication: Must be able to communicate effectively in writing and verbally with team members, customers and vendors.

Typical

Working Conditions:

Machine and fabrication shop environment around equipment such as water jet tables, lathes, milling machines and press brakes. Welding operations are often taking place nearby. This job requires adherence to strict safety protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE). JFT has implemented a 9/80 work schedule, and the office is closed every other Friday.
