Reporting to the Value Stream Leader, the Chemkey Operator III is responsible for manufacturing quality product according to the work order or other build signal while adhering to defined work instructions. General duties may include picking, assembling, and packaging. Machine set-up and equipment operation may be required.

This position is part of the Hach
- Operations/Plant Management
- Fab/Plastics/Chem Key Mfg Support located in Loveland, CO and will be onsite.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

Accurately perform required computer data entry and work order transactions (LOTS, scrap, Oracle, ARIBA, kanban, DRP, etc.).
May operate several production machines or operations simultaneously
Report complicated equipment malfunctions to mechanics.
May be responsible for handling of and accurate disposal of chemical and non-chemical waste, some of which is hazardous and regulated.
Participate in team meetings, which includes planning daily work and resource utilization, problem solving, project work, etc.
Perform cycle counting and other inventory tasks, including material handling.
Maintain visual management of part and raw material storage; clean and organized work area.
Work with Planner and Manager to prioritize workload and equipment schedule to meet both internal and external demand.
Assist in design, implementation and problem solving of new equipment and products.
May be required to cross-train on other equipment or other areas as needed
Work with manager to suggest and initiate changes to process, machines, or procedures that improve safety, quality, delivery, or productivity.

The essential requirements of the job includes:

Ability to follow standard operating procedures with a limited degree of supervision
Has developed proficiency through job-related training and considerable on-the-job experience
Provides solutions to problems in situations that are atypical or infrequently occurring based on existing precedents or procedures
