Travel RN - Operating Room - Cardiovascular​/CVOR

American Traveler is hiring an experienced CVOR RN with at least 2 years of cardiovascular OR experience and a CO or compact RN license for a day shift assignment.

• Active RN license (CO or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of CVOR experience required
• CVOR experience must be reflected in work history
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, TAVR, IABP, MAZE Procedure, Mitral Valve Replacement, and VAD (LVAD/RVAD) preferred

• Work in a 12-room Operating Room within the CVOR unit
• Day shift schedule, 3x12 hours, 6:30 AM-7:00 PM, Monday-Friday
• Staffing ratio of 1-2 RNs and 1 Surgical Tech per room
• Call required one weekday per week and one weekend per month (Friday PM to Monday AM)
• May be required to float within scope to sister facilities within the North Region
• Uses Epic charting system
• Navy scrub color required
• Provide perioperative nursing care for cardiovascular surgical procedures
• First-time travelers accepted if experience requirements are met
• Completion of all facility-specific modules required within the first week of assignment
• Maximum 10 RTO days approved per 13-week contract, with blackout periods during peak seasonal dates
• No blocked scheduling requests permitted
• Candidates previously employed by UCHealth or its affiliates within the last two years will not be considered
• Returning travelers who completed a full year on assignment must wait at least one year before rebooking
• Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility may be considered
