** This is an office role based out of our Loveland, Colorado office. This role travels nationally to customers and industry events, up to 70% of the time.
**** The Target Base Salary for this position is $108,000 - $140,000 annually. At Antech, pay decisions are determined using factors such as relevant job-related skills, experience, education, training and budget. This position is also eligible to earn a quarterly sales incentive.
**** Job Purpose/Overview
** The Strategic Account Manager identifies, wins, maintains and expands relationships with strategically important large customers. Assigned to several specific named customers, the Strategic Account Manager is responsible for winning new Antech customers, achieving sales quota and assigned strategic account objectives. The Strategic Account Manager represents the entire range of company products and services to assigned customers, while leading the customer account planning cycle and ensuring assigned customers’ needs and expectations are met by the company.
** Essential Duties and Responsibilities
** Ability to develop organic opportunities with existing customers and develop new business relationships with emerging customers Achieves assigned sales quota in designated strategic accounts. Proactively leads a joint company-strategic account planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones for a one and three-year period.

The Strategic Account Manager will also be assigned other duties and tasks as required from time to time. Work with internal functional teams by attending zone and regional meetings to facilitate the understanding of national account opportunities for growth and standardization of offerings by field team.

Education and Experience Minimum 4 years’ experience in animal health sales, pharmaceutical sales, marketing, or biotechnology experience Proven ability to network and develop new business relationships

Experience with contract negotiations Knowledge,

Skills and Abilities

Advanced knowledge of the veterinary pharmaceutical industry Strong analytical and mathematical skills Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing Effective interpersonal and leadership skills Effective organizational skills; attention to detail Ability to consistently meet deadlines Excellent problem-solving skills: ability to resolve issues effectively and efficiently Excellent presentation skills Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and other Office Programs
