White Castle Roofing and Contracting, Inc. ("Company") needs 18 temporary Roofing Helpers from April 1, 2026 – November 30, 2026 for work at various worksites in Douglas, Jefferson, Adams, Weld, Larimer, Arapahoe, Denver, Broomfield, Laramie, and Albany counties in Colorado. The work is full‑time, Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 40 hrs/wk, with a guaranteed wage rate of at least $25.65/hr (higher rates possible based on experience or skill).
Workers are eligible for overtime pay of at least $38.48/hr piece‑rate wages may apply based on volume of job‑related tasks completed per workweek.
Company will assist with securing apartment‑style shared lodging plus utilities in employer‑owned or employer‑rented housing at approximately $140.00 per person per pay period (a refundable damage deposit of $400.00 applies). Optional advance up to $300.00 may be available for clothing and food; repayment will be deducted from future paychecks if applicable.
Job Duties- Physically demanding duties related to new and re‑roofing projects.
- Assist more experienced roofers and crew leaders by using, supplying, or holding materials and tools.
- Unload materials and tools from work trucks.
- Remove old roofing materials.
- Sweep and clean roofs to prepare them for the application of new roofing materials.
- Set ladders, scaffolds, and hoists, and use the same to take supplies to roofs.
- Cover roofs with layers of roofing felt or similar materials to prepare for installation.
- Assist with re‑roofing process as directed by foreman.
- Maintain tools and clean work area and equipment.
- Assist with other projects ancillary to roofing projects.
- All duties to be performed utilizing proper fall protection and scaffolding.
Workers will have all tools, supplies, and equipment required to perform the job at no charge. The costs of transportation (including subsistence and, to the extent necessary, lodging) from the place of recruitment to the place of employment will be reimbursed upon arrival, subject to repayment if the worker does not complete at least half of the employment period. Company will reimburse H‑2B workers for visa and related fees incurred during the first workweek.
Upon completion or early dismissal, reasonable transportation and subsistence costs will be provided for return to the worker’s original location, unless the worker has another employment arrangement or voluntarily abandoned the job. Daily subsistence will be provided at a rate of at least $16.28/day during travel, up to $68.00/day with receipts, and daily transportation to individual worksites may be provided depending on location.
Company guarantees work for hours equal to at least three‑quarters of the workdays in each 12‑week period of the total employment period.
Must be at least 18 years old and able to consistently lift 70 lbs, as verbally confirmed by applicant.
