Anistar is seeking experienced Cable Technicians for a long term contract opportunity to provide assistance with the installation, termination, and testing of various types of voice and data cables. The ideal candidate will work under general supervision with a highly analytical and problem-solving mindset, and must be able to work as a team player.

• Pull, term, and test fiber optic cable
• Install J Hooks

• 1+ year of experience in commercial or data center cabling
• Experience pulling and terminating cables
• Ability to climb ladders and insert cable in Access Points
• Solid base knowledge of conduits
• Coax certifications are a plus

Technicians should be familiar with various cables including twisted pair, coax, power-limited tray, stranded, solid conductor low voltage, CAT-5, CAT-6, and fiber optic cables. Cable installation includes pulling, placement, termination, testing, and labeling. Knowledge of telecom systems, TCP/IP networks, CCTV security, access control, and wireless solutions is valuable. BICSI certification (current or past) is a plus but not required.
