Position Purpose: Repair and Tool Technicians are responsible for evaluating and repairing small engines, outdoor power equipment, and handheld electrical devices. They make equipment recommendations and ensure units are maintained. Technicians work in stores with Tool Rental Centers and in repair centers. In stores, they provide service to customers, including writing rental contracts and invoices, checking tool operation, and demonstrating proper use.

They also manage the day-to-day operation and maintenance of equipment in the tool rental department. In non-store locations, they ensure units are repaired, tested, cleaned, and returned to the store. Technicians must have thorough tool knowledge and manage tool inventory effectively.
